TEACHERS please take time to look over these notes and requirements
* 10% of all sales are given back to your pre-school
* We provide backgrounds and a few props if needed
* An extra teacher is needed to assist the photographer with the children
* Please make sure there is enough room to set up the photography equipment.
* I will email you a custom "Picture Day" flier and a reminder for you to print and distribute between your students.
* 3-5 days after Picture Day proofs will be posted. Turn around time is around 2 weeks. You will be emailed when they are complete and you can notify the parents.
Acceptable Payments
Cash or check is always acceptable and we do also accept credit card, but there is an additional $3 fee. For completing your order please fill out the Picture Day order form and choose your payment type and enclose your check or money.
*No money orders are accepted. *Note that some schools may only offer cash or check payments. This depends on the schools preference.
Ordering and Viewing Your Picture
To complete your order please fill out the Picture Day order form from the pre-school and enclose your payment to the pre-school before Picture Day. A proof will be posted on a secured page that is locked to your specific pre-school class. This takes approximately 3-5 days after Picture Day. All sales are FINAL, if for whatever reason there is an issue with an order we will do our best to do everything we can to resolve it.
For up to 9 months after your Picture Day you can use your Portrait ID and Access Code for a first-time order or to reorder additional portraits and portrait gifts.
Why No Background Choices?
The photographer actual works with nature or cloth backgrounds, which we have MANY to choose from. The photographer picks the best background depending on the childs attire. If you have a preference in color you can notate that on your order form.
How it Works
We photograph all children based on parent preferences. All children photographed will receive a proof sample online that parents can preview in the comfort of their own home. Parents can order portraits online, by phone or (in some cases) by returning their order form and payment to their center. The school or center will receive a commission payment according to what your center sells. For more information or to book a picture day for your school please contact us anytime.
1. BEFORE PICTURE DAY
Materials will arrive at your center with instructions to help you promote picture day and maximize your commission.
2. ON PICTURE DAY
Our experienced photographers will work with you to ensure a successful Picture Day.Please review any special situations or needs with your photographer.
3. AFTER PICTURE DAY
You will be notified when the proof images will be uploaded online. Takes around 2 week turn around for families to receive their prints. I encourage and remind parents to order by the due date. More orders = more commissions for your center.
How to get ready and what to expect after Picture Day:
5 Tips for a Great School Picture Day
1. Help your child pick out clothes and colors that look good on them. After all, your child is the star of the photo—not their shirt, so avoid slogans, logos, and big patterns. Small jewelry and accessories are fine but nothing too big or distracting.
2. Glasses are okay! Mich photographers know all the tricks to reduce glare.
3. Any hairstyle works for Picture Day. Schedule haircuts a few weeks ahead of time to allow hair to grow back a little, or you can go for a fresh-cut look.
4. Keep kids relaxed and ready to be themselves. Smiles can look fake if they’re practiced ahead of time. Remember, smiles are like french fries—they’re better when they’re fresh.
5. Don’t worry about “perfect”! That hair that always sticks up or a missing tooth shows your child just as they are right now—and you’ll enjoy looking back on that for years to come. On Picture Day, teachers and volunteers will help straighten collars and check posture. And, if you like, we have retouching options for scrapes and blemishes.

After Picture Day
It takes around 3-5 days for the images to be uploaded for viewing. At that point just go here and enter your pre-schools password to view your childs class photos. If additional portraits are needed, it's convenient to reorder just contact us anytime.
Things to know: Portraits will arrive approximately 2 weeks after Picture Day. Your pre-school or center will receive the package and alert you when portraits are ready.
